Alyssa Milano and Nathan Fillion are in negotiations for the respective leads in two ABC pilots: the untitled Kristin Newman comedy and drama presentation "Castle."
Additionally, Tom Hollander has joined CBS' drama presentation "The Meant to Be's," and Aunjanue Ellis has come aboard ABC's drama pilot "Prince of Motor City."
The untitled Newman project, from ABC Studios, is a single-camera comedy that centers on a thirtysomething woman (Milano) who tries to break free of her overbearing and dysfunctional family, friends and boss.
"Charmed" alumna Milano recurs on NBC's "My Name Is Earl" and is seen on the big screen in MGM's "Pathology."
Milano, who recently starred in and produced the highly rated Lifetime movie "Wisegal," is repped by CAA and attorney Bill Skrzyniarz.
"Castle," from ABC Studios, is a comedic procedural about a famous mystery novelist (Fillion) helping the NYPD solve crimes.
Fillion recurs on ABC's "Desperate Housewives" and recently wrapped the feature "Chilled in Miami."
"Meant," from CBS Par, is a romantic drama about a young woman (Amy Smart) who dies, but in order to "pass over," she must return to Earth and help people improve their lives. Hollander will play the head of the Fate division who is bending the rules to save lives.
Hollander recently wrapped DreamWorks' "The Soloist" and next will be seen in "Valkyrie." He is repped by UTA, U.K.-based Independent agency and attorney Carlos Goodman.
